I got a phone call from my uncle yesterday.

Weird already because my uncle never talks to me. Ever.

Well he has a proposition for me. He has a friend in Cambodia that wants to send one of his kids to the States. He wants me to jump on a plane and fly to Cambodia. Get married to some guy, he's 24, and bring him back to the States. His family will pay me $10,000 in cash if I decide to do this for them. And no I did not put 1 too many zero's either. They would pay for everything, the wedding, my plane ticket. EVERYTHING! I'm not a citizen but they would send me $325 for me to start the process and send me $90 to get my passport. So if I do decide that I want to commit immigration fraud, I'm not going to be able to do so until another year.

And if I do... The guy would have to live with me for a year (well, live with my mom, cause I can't speak a lick of Cambodian), live with us until he can get on his feet and move out. It's a business arrangement. He knows it and so do I. And all he would need to do is keep my address for about 3 years so the INS won't get suspicious. I would legally be married and I would actually have to get a divorce.

I presented the idea to Erik. He's not too thrilled. But his eyes did light up when I mention the 10 g's I would be getting.

Isn't that some crazy ass shit?!

What's even more amusing... I'm actually contemplating it...
